Android is an operating system and gaming platform for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. It is developed by the Open Handset Alliance.

Gaming[]

With use of the Google Play Store, the Android OS may be used extensively and sometimes exclusively for gaming. A few console titles have been ported to Android exclusively, the most notable title being Grand Theft Auto 3 that was ported to Android with graphical upgrades from the original version. The larger touch screens of Android devices often make more room for on-screen joysticks and easier control. Android devices with BlueTooth technology or USB 2.0 may also make use of universal video game controllers.
