In this game, players can raise a virtual angel from infant to adult, guiding it on the path of righteousness along the way. Tamagotchi Angel is based on the electronic key-chain of the same name, which was released in 1997-1998 by Bandai's toy division.

After a short while (approximately 5 minutes), the Tamagotchi steps off of the spaceship, and the infant stage begins. The Tamagotchi is most needy at this point, requiring constant nourishment and attention. Fortunately, this stage only lasts about one hour, when the Tamagotchi enters the toddler stage. Afterwards, the Tamagotchi goes from toddler to adolescent, adolescent to adult, and (if the Tamagotchi has been taken care of well enough) adult to special adult. Players take care of their Tamagotchi by feeding and entertaining it. For feeding the Tamagotchi, there is a choice of a meal or a snack; the snack makes the Tamagotchi happier, although it adds on more weight. Occasionally, a bat may try and steal the Tamagotchi's snack; players must press the "5" button on their phones to shoo the bat away. As for entertaining the Tamagotchi, players have the choice of one game; in this game, players must press a button in order to make their Tamagotchi jump over shooting stars. Players must navigate to the "Flush" icon to clean up their Tamagotchi's poop, or the "Medicine" icon to heal their sick Tamagotchi. If the Tamagotchi beeps at the players for attention, then the players should navigate to the "Praise" icon to praise it. Players can also turn on and off the lights; the lights should be on during t
